04 One Injection at a Time

A consistent test system makes it possible to ask whether the injector itself is consistent.

What an average can miss

Some testing methods collect results over many injection events and report an average. The average can be useful—but different injection events may produce different results even when their average looks acceptable.

That variation matters: an injector should not be judged only by a single aggregate number when its behavior from one injection to the next is relevant.

The Injection-by-Injection advantage

DIT31’s Injection-by-Injection approach examines individual injection events, helping reveal differences that an average alone could hide. It can also provide useful testing information without requiring the same prolonged collection cycles associated with some aggregate methods.

For a workshop, the potential benefits come together: more insight into injector consistency and faster testing, depending on the application and procedure.

Key point: More meaningful insight into individual injections—with less time spent testing.

A consistent test system makes it possible to ask whether the injector itself is consistent.
